postmarked Dec. 20, 1921 from Jeanne at 705 S. 9th Street, Camden, NJ (excerpts):

  • - sends Xmas greetings
  • - say that last year at this time Olive was in Camden and now she's in the country
  • - asks after Mr. Jackson and William
  • - asks after Aunt Prude
  • - mentions a Mr. Wright
  • - says that Maude, William and the baby are well
  • - mentions that fires have destroyed many of the businesses in Camden
  • - mentions that Bea has a new fellow
  • - mentions that she is being courted by Mr. Flornoy Llloyd and asks is Olive thinks they might make a good match
Who are these people???

  1. Sample Family unknown
  2. Jacob Reed and (daughter??) Maria unknown
  3. Theodore Carty???
  4. Elizabeth Jackson is the wife of Wesley Jackson. Her grave marker at Indian Mission matches the dates listed in the bible (1/6/1820 - 1/6/1896)
  5. John Jackson is the son of Elizabeth & Wesley. The Bible lists death date as 3/29 while grave marker at Indian Mission say 3/26/1906 but the age of 47 is consistent.
  6. William Jackson is probably Wesley and Elizabeth's son, William. (3/1/1848- 5/17/1925 per death certificate). Is he the William who married Theodore Carty's widow???
  7. Mrs. Martha Harmon: Wesley and Elizabeth had a daughter Martha who was born in 1846 (per census) which matches this Martha. Did she marry a Harmon?
