Alfred Wilbank Coker, the son of Daniel Coker and Sarah Ridgeway, was born in Kent Co., DE on 7 March, 1887. Sometime before 1913 he married Margaret A. CARNEY who was born 13 March, 1895. Margaret was the daughter of James Perry CARNEY and Harriett DURHAM, members of the Kent Co., mixed blood community.
Alfred and Margaret had the following children:

married Hazella SAMMONS
- James B. Coker (1921- )
married Cleo DURHAM
Alfred died in 1943 and Margaret in 1973. Both were buried at Fork Branch Cemetery in Kent Co., DE.
