He married Lillie Mae SAMMONS who was born into the Kent Co. community on 3 September, 1891. She was the daughter of Edward Sammons and Anna Matthews.
They had the following child:

William died on 3 May, 1965 and Lillie Mae on 9 November, 1972. Both are buried at Immanuel Union (Manship) Church in Cheswold, Kent Co., DE
