Anna Elizabeth Dean was the daughter of Robert Dean and Catherine Morgan . She was born in Kent Co., DE on 30 January, 1870. On 4 January, 1888 she married Charles Henry Mosley (1861-1906), son of Wingate MOSLEY and his wife, Nancy. Annie and Charles had 12 children: Geoffrey A. Mosley(1885-1953) Bessie Alice Mosley (1888-1919) Felix Mosley (8 Jan.1890 - 14 April 1937) Sarah Catherine Mosley (24 Jan.1891 - 21 Oct. 1906) married Wilbur W. DURHAM Charles Milton Mosley (25 June,1892 - 26 July,1960) married Mae SAMMONS on 15 November, 1917 Clifton Mosley (22 Sept,1893 - 5 Feb.,1918) married Bertha Edna SAMMONS Edith Pearl Mosley (13 Feb.,1895 - 3 Mar.,1973) married John Chappelle and William James Whiteman Beulah Mosley (6 Aug.,1896 - 7 Jan.,1987) married Joel Clemons Smith on 18 October 1916. Mabel Mosley (20 Apr.,1898 - 5 Aug.,1956) married Howard Clifton Wilson on 18 December 1920 Mary E. Mosley (16 Sept.,1899- 10 Nov.,1978) married William Thomas Reed on 30 April 1921 Anna Jeanette Mosley (4 Jan.1901- ) married William Russell Wilson and Norman Benston Fraim Reba Dean Mosley (10 Mar.1904- ) married George Elwood CARTER

Charles H. Mosley died from typhoid fever on 19 October, 1906. His daughter, Sarah Catherine followed on 21 October and her husband on 23 November.

Annie continued to live in Cheswold after her husbands death. She was one of C.A.Weslager's informants when he wrote Delaware's Forgotten Folk . She spoke of her mother, Catherine Morgan Dean, as being the daughter of John Morgan and a white woman (name unknown).

Annie died on 27 June, 1963. Her obituary says :

• " Annie E. Mosley, Cheswold, DE who was well known in this area died Thursday at the age of 93 at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mae Mosley. Mrs. Mosley was known by her worldwide circle of relatives and friends as "Aunt Annie". She is survived by four children: Mrs. Pearl Chapelle, Philadelphia, Mrs. Beulah Smith, Wayne, PA., Mrs. Mary Reed, Dover, DE, Mrs. Jeanette Wilson, Cheswold. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Manship Manuel Church in Cheswold. Friends may call Saturday evening at the Torbert Funeral Home, State and Bradford Sts., Dover."
