Sometime before 1876, she married William C. Johnson.

They had one child :

• Mary Melisse Johnson who was born January 1876 and died 6 February, 1876 ( her gravemarker lists her age as 1 month).
  

Lucinda died shortly after childbirth on 30 January, 1876. The entire family is buried at Manship Church in Cheswold, DE.

William C. Johnson is mentioned in the accounting on the estate of his father-in-law, Robert Dean. Orphans Court records state....

• "That the said Lucinda has since the death of her said father departed this life intestate, leaving to survive her, her said husband, William C. Johnson and a daughter Mary, an infant who has also died."
  

In the Kent Co. Deeds (Liber U, vol 17) dated 17 December, 1895, William is mentioned living in Camden, NJ.
