Enoch appears with his family in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 federal census records.

Sometime around 1886 Enoch married Margaret Munce , the daughter of Isaiah Munce and Elmira Carter. Margaret was born in Kent Co. on 30 September, 1861. Two of Enoch's brothers, Jeremiah and Clement, also married daughters of Isaiah and Elmira.

Enoch and Margaret lived their lives in Kent Co., DE and had the following children:

After Margaret died, Enoch re-married Lola Miller and had the following children:

5. Leroy Durham married Thelma Carney
   

Enoch Durham died on 17 March, 1929. He is buried at Immanuel Union (Manship) Church in Cheswold. His death certificate lists his age a "70", his race as "C", and the cause of death as "valvular insufficiency of the heart". Calvin Clark was the undertaker.
