Although we cannot be sure, this William Hansor was probably the son of William Hansor. If so, he was born in Sussex Co., DE sometime before 1720 and lived there his entire life even after his father moved north to Kent Co.
He and his family were members of St. George's Chapel .
On 26 October, 1784 William made his will which mentions his wife, Jane, and his sons:
- David Hansor, the eldest
- Thomas Hansor who inherited his father's lands
- Peter Hansor
The following were also mentioned in the will as heirs and it is possible they were daughters of William and Jane:
- Elizabeth Rowles , possibly the wife of John Rowles who is mentioned in the accounting
- Agnes Hanzar
- Easter/Esther Hanzar
- Jane Rigsworth/Rigwah (possibly Ridgeway)
- Ann Salmons (possibly Sammons?)
The will also mentions the following grandchildren:
- Aaron Hanzer
- Thomas Hanzer
- Nehemiah Hanzer
- William Hanzer
- Lobello Hanzer
- Elise Hanzer
- Cary Hanzer
William died in Sussex county, DE in December 1801. His will was probated on 22 December.
