Sometime prior to 1840 he married {Mary?} Annie Saunders (b.c. 1819) and they had, at least, 6 children:
Sometime before 1858, Annie died and William married, Mahala DURHAM who was the widow of William Durham and the daughter of Isaiah Songo . They had the following children:
William and his son, John H. Morgan, bought land from the estate of Robert Dean and lived side by side along the main highway, the present Rt. 13. John's brother-in-law , Moses Coker , was married to Robert's daughter, Mary Ann Dean.
On 12 April, 1891 William Morgan died. He is buried at Immanuel Union (Manship) Church in Cheswold, DE.
