Mrs. Bertha Mabel Jackson, 70, widow of Philip H. Jackson, died Tuesday at her home near Seaford after an apparent heart attack.
She is survived by her four sons: Herman R. Sr., Seaford; Clifford R. and Norman H., both of Wilmington and Harland I, Lewes; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wright and Mrs. Louise Wright, both of Wilmington; a brother Howard Carey, Cheswold; four sisters, Mrs. Lulu Clark, Milton; Mrs. Susie Clark, Seaford; Mrs. Henrietta Johnson and Mrs. Grace Sammons, both of Cheswold; a grandson, Herman R.Jackson, Jr. whom she raised at home; 30 other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 at the Watson Funeral Home, Seaford, where friends may call tomorrow night.

SEAFORD: June 12- Philip Harrison Jackson, 71, of near here, died Friday evening at his home after a long illness. He was the son of the late Nathaniel C. and Lucy Perkins Jackson of Seaford.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Jackson; five sons, Herman R., of Seaford; Clifford R. and Norman H., both of Wilmington and Philip A. and Harland, both of Lewes; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wright of Lewes and Mrs. Louise Wright of Wilmington. There are also 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and three sisters; Mrs. Lulu Jackson of Seaford; Mrs. Mattie R. Herman of Bridgeton, NJ and Mrs. Nora D. Morgan of Cheswold.
The funeral will be held from his late home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the family cemetary, Middleford. Friends may call at the home Monday evening.

MILLSBORO: Raymond S. Jackson, 58, a farmer, died Wednesday in Beebe Hospital, Lewes after along illness. He attended Indian Mission Church, Millsboro.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Linia Jackson of Millsboro; two step-sons, William and Winston Morris, both of Millsboro and four step-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday afternoon at 1 at the Indian Mission Church at Millsboro. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetary. Friends may call at the James Funeral Home, Millsboro, tomorrow night.
