CHESWOLD: James L. Reed, 80, of Cheswold died Tuesday at the State Home at Smyrna after a long illness. He was a retired florist.
Mr. Reed was survived by his widow, Mrs. Esther Reed of Millsboro; a son, Walter of Cheswold; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Carney of Cheswold, Mrs. Lillian Turner of Baltimore and Mrs. Virginia Carney of Cheswold; a brother, William of Cheswold; three grandchildren and six great- great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 Saturday at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover where friends may call tomorrow night. Interment will be in Emmanuel Union Cemetery, Cheswold.

REED- In Philadelphia, Pa. on Dec. 8, 1958, Rebecca Reed, sister of Mrs. Caroline Wright and Mrs. Alice Webb of Millsboro and Levin Jackson of Wilmington, Del. Aged 87 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Stevenson Funeral Home, Dover, Del. on Saturday afternoon Dec. 13 at 1:30 o'clock. Interment at Fork Branch Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.


William H. Reed

DOVER: William H. Reed, 92, of near Dover, a retired farmer, died Sunday at home after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Beulah Morgan Reed who died many years ago.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Reed of Dover and Harry Reed of Wilmington; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 from Immanuel Union Methodist Church, Townsend, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow night at the Torbert Funeral Home, Dover.
