Mrs. Streett died Sunday in the Delaware Hospital at Wilmington. she was a lifelong resident of Lewes and a member of Isreal Methodist Church.
Surviving are eight children: Mrs. Lela S. Heller, W. Vernon, Mrs. Gladys S. Porter, Mrs. Marjorie Ivy, Percell K., Dorothy Streett, Mrs. Evelyn s. Gardner and Mrs. Ethelda Dean, all of Wilmington; and 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Street; a daughter Mrs. Lena Wood of Washington, DC; four sons; Harvey, Alonzo and Leon, all of Los Angeles, Calif. and Howard of this city; five step-children: Isaac Thornton of Los Angeles, William T. Thornton of Ardmore, Pa; Mrs. Mary Street, Mrs. Clara Abrams and Mrs. Hattie Street, all of Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Millsboro, where he was a member. Elder Nelson Bliss will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetary. Friends may call at the James Funeral Home, Millsboro, tomorrow evening from 7 to 9.

Mr. Street was born in Millsboro and left Wilmington 10 years ago. He had been a waitor at the former Hob Tea Room and worked for the former Wilmington Jobbing Co.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ellen Street; two brothers, Howard Street, Wilmington and Alonzo Street, Los Angeles and five half-brothers and half-sisters in California.
Services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in the Peoples Funeral Home, 4250 S. Central Ave. Los Angeles.

Mrs. Street, 70, of Riverdale was travelling west on sussex 48 about 3:30 p.m. when her car went out of control. State police listed her death as a highway fatality yesterday after an autopsy showed she died of a broken spine and heart and liver damage. Her death raised the state highway death toll to 74 compared with 85 at this time last year.
Mrs. Street was a lifelong resident of Sussex County. Her husband, McClaren Street died in 1952. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sherry Knesz of Hallendale, Fla. and Mrs. Ramona Mercado of New York City; three sisters; Mrs. Nora Draine of Lewes, Mrs. Katherine Street of Philadelphia and Mrs. Mildred Myers of Long Island, NY; two brothers, Robert B. Street of Philadelphia and Carlos Street of Millsboro; 11 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call tonight at the James Funeral Home, Millsboro. Interment will be in the Indian Mission Church Cemetary.

The victim, William Burton Street, 57 of near Millsboro, was pronounced dead at 12:15 p.m. from a fractured skull at the Beebe Hospital by Dr. R. L. Klingel, state deputy medical examiner.
Street was one of the logging crew working for Sen. Eugene D. Bookhammer, R-Lewes, in the woods on the Rollins farm about two and a half miles west of here.
State police said the victim was operating a caterpillar tractor pulling logs from the woods.
A fellow workman, Voyd Harmon, of near Millsboro was felling a 35 foot tree near the path the caterpillar was dragging the logs. Police said wind blew the falling tree on top of Street as he rode the vehicle.
The Lewes Fire Department ambulance took the logger to the hospital where he died two hours later. Funeral arrangements are pending at the James Funeral Home in Millsboro.

Street died of a fractured skull when a tree fell on him in a woods 2 1/2 miles east of Lewes. He was working for State Sen. Eugene D. Bookhammer, R-Lewes. He was a member of the Community Brotherhood and pianist for the United Gospel Chorus for 15 years. he was a veteran of World War II.
